These statistics appear to be true. It's wet! We need to buy umbrellas. Raincoats are fun and all but if you are going out in chinos and cashmere in the rain there is really only one option: the all powerful umbrella. I cannot even remember the last time I owned an umbrella. Maybe in college in Philadelphia I had one lying around but yeesh, it didn't seem like a particularly valuable possession. Now, though, we are in the market for sure! I will certainly keep all of you posted as to our progress in this effort. Until then, know that it is thundering and raining for the 4th day straight. We are not, as we initially feared, water soluble but the water falling out of the sky is definitely beginning to impact our daily plans. For instance, we are currently not biking to do our laundry because we would get dripping wet along the way if we made the attempt. Our Monday is officially off the rails. Who the hell knows what's going to happen next.
